Please arrive with your hair down, detangled, and in its natural state. Free of buns, braids, or ponytails. Using your usual products is perfectly fine. This helps me see your curls as they naturally fall so I can give you the best results.

At Curly Roots, I specialize in enhancing and caring for natural curls. Because of this, I don’t offer chemical perms or straightening services. Instead, I focus on curl-friendly cuts, treatments, and styles designed to bring out the best in your natural texture.

Pricing is based on the amount of hair and the time it takes to complete your service. Every curl pattern and density is unique. Categorizing services by hair type ensures I can dedicate the right amount of attention to your curls while keeping pricing fair and transparent.

I offer both wet and dry cutting, depending on your hair’s needs. For curls, I often start with a dry cut to shape your natural pattern, and may refine with a wet cut when needed.

A custom curl cut is tailored specifically to your unique curl pattern, density, and hair growth. Unlike a regular haircut, which is often cut straight or wet, a custom curl cut is usually done dry, allowing each curl to fall naturally. This ensures your curls are shaped, defined, and balanced, so your hair looks its best every day!
